Guys; I need to find a source for zerk caps, the little caps that go on grease fittings to keep the dirt and dust out. I have checked all the usual suspects (AZ, ADV, O'R, etc.) and they don't even have a clue as to what they are. I looked at a NAPA and they said that since the new cars don't use them, they don't carry them . Go figure! If anyone has an idea as to where to find these, pls let me know. Thanks,
Maybe. The caps I'm looking for are plastic and fit the suspension grease fittings. They come in a lot of different colors. I'll check the bleeder caps. Thanks,
Earl!!! Dip it...You can make em from "dip it"...The stuff you buy to coat the handels on tools and such.Put a thin layer of oil on the end of the fitting...then "dip it" in the dip it.Once it dries, you have caps that can be removed and fit snugly...And you can buy "Dip it" in many colors...
Joe; thanks, that will save some time. Those little things are the hardest to find of all the stuff for this car. See you tomorrow!!!
