Well gentlemen (and the few ladies on here) i have a new problem, well i blew my head gasket like a month ago and replaced it and got my car running like a champ agian.
but a week ago i noticed at the top end of all my gears (if i was coasting) and put my foot on the gas it would run crappy and "chug" down the road until it shifted. So i thought it was the timing, so i had my car running and moved the distrubitor and it sounded pretty good so i thought it was ok.
now my problem is instead of it running like crap at the top of my gears it dose it at the bottom of them, like when i take off or when it shifts gears, i messed with my distrubitor agian but it still dose the same thing.
and if i floor it when its "chugging" itll down shift and run fine, and some times it wont even chug at all.

idk if something is loose somewhere or what. and my distrubitor cap has no cracks, i replaced the sparkplug in the cylinder that had water, and got new plug wires.
could it still be the timing is messed up, like a tooth off?
and i know its not the tranny because it dosnt do it all the time. ( question could my tranny leaking from the pan a tiny bit cause the problem?)

And my other issue that my girlfriend hates :( is when i replaced my head gasket on the driver side i accidently un hooked a wire from some where around my a/c, now before my head gasket blew i had cold a/c but now its like lava coming out my vents.
and when i turn the a/c on i can hear the clutch kik on but it just gets hotter, whats the deal with that? i never let any freon out and it still has pressure in the lines.

Any help with either of these questions will be greatly appreciated:)
And agian thats to all the people who help me determine there was water in 1 of my cylinders and that my engine wasnt seized

Sounds like you knocked off the vacuum hose for the heater hose shut off valve or the AC controlls feed line(vacuum) under the hood.
As for the chugging...Reset your timing to where it should be...Make sure the trans kickdown rod is adjusted properly and the vacuum modulator hose is connected at the engine and trans.A tiny leak wont hurt you till its a big leak or you lose enough fluid to cook the trans.

Exactly what Mavmav72 said.......check you vacuum lines before spending any money. I went that route once before. And if you are just moving the distributor back and forth with out a light.....stop that. Borrow one one or buy one. Timing by ear is not always as accurate as it sounds.

Well i just got back from workin on the engine and i found out a plug that went to the heater core was off, so i put it on and my a/c was actually cooler then lava lol. i think it needs recharged tho from all test test sprays i did on it. and for the running problem i had i realized the hose that goes to the pcv i think? it was right behind the intank manifold was almost off. so i pushed it on and took her for a spin and it ran way better and i actually did a burn out lol.

A cheap piece of insurance for your tranny would be to purchase a new Modulator. They are cheap and it could save your tranny if the modultor gets a hole in it, it can suck your tranny dry in a very short time, if your are driving at night you would not be able to see he tailpipe smoke. Usually the tranny shifts better with a new unit.
