I was sure sorry that we missed the trip to Big Brutus. We got in to Joplin at 12 noon Thursday. The Carver museum was outstanding, with a great cruise to it. My grandaughters were thrilled because they were finally part of the "Maverick Parade". Dinner Friday night was great as Ryans buffet has a great selection to satisfy even the biggest food critic. Saturday was a fun day at the park with the show and the BBQ supplied by jeff and Misty Phillips. It was fun watching everyone look at the Mavericks coming to the cruise. Jeff and Misty had an area roped off for us. You could see people counting the Mavericks as they kept coming in. The motel had a great breakfast, 2 pools, spa, workout room, and lots of parking for the cars and trailers. And of course sitting around telling stories til 2 a.m. Kind of quiet here today as everyone is gone. We're staying here til Tuesday, then heading to Hannibal for the Roundup. Grandaughters are already asking about next year. We also gained 9 members while here. And I believe a few more are planning on joining in the near future. Thanks to Robert Raney, Matt Williams, and Jeff and Misty for putting this on. Thanks to my wife for doing all theordering of the shirts, which turned out awesome. I think we are going to have to wait to send out the shirts that are to be mailed until we get home as we are having some problems getting the mailing labels to print from the PC. Thanks to all the participants for making this another great Maverick Gathering. :Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake:Handshake

I hope everyone had a great time. I know I enjoyed it alot, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I felt this one went well ,I have finally learned that we as a familly (club)never leave on time never arive on time and it just doesn't bother us (y) Rondi and I started off this year very worried and tense on what we would have for a turn out and that everyone would have a good time, but by saturday morning we finally relaxed and had our best time ever. I want to thank everyone that attended for making this easy for us, and I missed the ones who could not make it, ya'll are trully familly to me and I will miss you until next year!!! OK FRANK i'll turn it over to the penut gallery:tiphat:
