Well, after looking for good rust free Maverick front floor boards for my 70, and not finding a suitable donor, I gave up and decided to check the net for Mustang floor boards. I ordered these from C J Pony Parts in Harrisburg, Pa. http://www.cjponyparts.com/

They were listed for 64-73 Mustang. Using the 10% off on weekends deal, they cost me just under 27.00 each. They are made in Taiwan but what isn't these days? The pattern is a little different but I'm going to replace both sides evenly so "Who'll know?". There are extra drain holes so I ordered the extra rubber plugs to go in them. They were made in India. The steel floor plugs, I also ordered, were made in Canada so this is a real United Nations floor board. :rofl2:

I received the right side today with the left side still on back order. It did come with some rippling, which I would guess comes from the high quality press dies in Taiwan but no big deal. Somewhere along the way there was a dent added at no extra cost but still no big deal.

I guess I could have bought flat steel cheaper but I then you don't have the ribbing built into it for strength.

Now if I could only get the time to actually install it.

Mine are better than some floors that I have seen pictures of where there just isn't any floors left. No one large section of rust through on the passenger side. Just a lot of pin hole rust through but easier to fix with a larger piece instead of 10 or so small plates. The driver's side is much worse.

I had the car was on it's side, on the roll over stands, and had a light shining into the interior. Walking past the underside, it looked like a shotgun blast with a lot of little tiny pellet holes.
