Well i have a 73 with a moderate bumper and i have everything for a small bumper swap but bolt holes or anything match up what do i do about this?
What doesn't line up? the brackets to the bumpers or the brackets to the car? You may want to put some pics up of what you have and where you're trying to put it. Somebody will steer ya right
Well my car has like 6 bolt wholes but none of them line up with the small bumper and they are all to small of holes.
I have the brackets from the small bumper and they dont work at all. I dont have the brackets for the transition ones idk what happened to them.
so the holes that aren't lining up are where the brackets bolt to the car, am i right? i don't know for certain, the only maverick i've ever seen in person, much less worked on, is mine, but i'd guess that the small bumper brackets just won't line up with the transition bumper car, but i don't know how people solve that problem... either drill new holes, or maybe the transition brackets are the ones you need. i couldn't say. all i've unbolted is a big bumper and i put it back on when i was done.
