The other day I saw a Chevy and the sound was like a helicopter!!!!
    That’s not what I want

So!! Jimmy the flowmaster 40 series mufflers 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch pipe will do a good sound not too noisy or loud????

id rec. flows. i install them all the time at work. we install one chambers all the time also . they are not any louder than glass pack/cherry bomb muffler. they really sound great on big block cars and turn downs. i plan on putting 3 inch with baby flows on my 73 mav this next week.

    Tim
what serie of muffler r you saying ???

There are many opinions on here
thanks for all the help fellas

better than the 4.6 mod motors.. no matter what muffler they run, they all sound the same.I love those motors though...

That is not a Boss 302 on the 1st link...wrong bolt pattern on the valve covers. I'm guessing it came with factory 4 barrel, 4-speed and 9" too.

There is a 69 mustang for sale locally that has that same "BOSS" 302 that is in the picture. I guess some people dont realize there is actually a difference between the two
