Oklahoma Maverick/Comet Meet - Saturday, August 8 2009

    This meet will be held in conjunction with the Route 66 Cruisers Hot Rods and Hot Air Balloons car show at the Gatesway Foundation Balloonfest on Saturday, August 8 at Will Rogers Downs & Casino in Claremore, OK. The Gatesway foundation is a non-profit organization that provides assistance and opportunities to those with developmental disabilities. This is a great event with lots of activities - so bring the whole family!

    We'll meet at Will Rogers Turnpike Gate (exit 255) at 9:00 AM and drive there together. It is important that we arrive together or we won't get to park as a group. Please let me know if you're coming ahead of time if you can.​

    There are no Maverick/Comet Meet’s at this time for the Rocky Mountain area or South of the Rockies; Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming due to the lack of recognition of these two great cars in those states.

    I got a call about the show the other night - they created a Maverick class for us!
