Will a monte carlo bar from a 1967-1968 mustang work in our cars?
I found one on CL for 40.00 and would get it if it would work.

No, the one that goes in front of the distributor. It's straight with a curve (half Circle) around the dizzy.

It's still coming along. I moved into a new hose, had a few setbacks, etc.... But I still got her. Plan on driving it the rest of the summer/fall, then getting everything whipped into shape over the winter to be ready for body and paint come spring.

Good to hear from you Chirt!

Without knowing for sure, It seems like you would already have the bent piece around the dizzy, and I would think it is just too long, so cut an inch or so off each end and you should have it fitting.

You buy it and you have the materials to make one for your car.
