heater

    so, this mav has none of the heater componets, na da... where does one start? [​IMG]

    it would be nice to know a little more such as I6 or V8. But I guess I'm wondering if the car drives. If yes, is the heater core bypassed? If so there should be some tube coming out of the intake manifold and going into the water pump or something of that sort.

    Here is a picture of where mine are:

    Just look at the 2 blue hoses on the passenger side. On top you can see it comes out of the intake manifol and the lower hose is going into the water pump. Now, between these 2 blue hoses sits a heater core which is like a small radiator. The heater core sits in the passenger compartment and behind it is an electric fan/motor that blows air against the heater core. Everytime you activate the vacuum switch to turn on the heater the fan starts and blows against the heater core.
