Hey Guys whats up Im Joe I'm 18 and I'm working on starting a restoration on my grandfather 74 Maverick that he gave to me. I'm just looking for some advice so if you have any let me know.
Thanks man I'm a young guy but i have a true heart for Mavericks. I have a question for you. My maverick has the chrome molding along the body well i took it off and there are these metal clips when you remove the metal clips it leaves about a quarter inch hole how would u patch those holse?
Thanks alot can you give me any advice about how to fill the hole that the metal clips were in that held the chrome molding on
Welcome to the forum! Welding the holes is the proper way to repair them. Some guys have used a 2 part epoxy product but I don't know what the long term results would be.
If you see a Maverick with Style its a Comet I did it again used my inside voice outside.:sorry: Just Kidding
