    Trying to fix my comet.The oil pump froze up on me last summer on the freeway.I didn't know till it was to late.Allmost done but it's to hot and time comsuming.

    How do u tell if your comet is a GT or not.I don't know much about my car.I could never find any books on it.The first owner painted it and took all the decals off it.But it has aluminum mag wheels with mercury symbol center caps.Thats all they left original.

    One thing to do is post a pic of the car on here. The Comet experts can probably help you out. Does it have a hood scoop? :)
