Did a lap up and down Woodward last night and it was nuts!. The Dream cruise was in full swing already. Only noticed one other mav parked roadside in one of the lots. The owners yelled gave us the thumbs up but I didn't recognize the car. If you've never been and you can get to Michigan before Saturday, you will never see another gathering of cars / trucks... like this anywhere.
we have our big metro cruise on this side of the state on the 28th and 29th lots of car shows on saturday up and down 28th street brad
Got home and I am getting ready to hit the road for Detroit. Be there tomorrow! I will be in a Grabber Green small bumper, so give me a shout.
Too bad the Mav ain't running and I can't get a trailer by tomorrow evening. Would be cool towing it up and down there. Saw a few Mav's while I was in the old black truck, alot I've never seen before, but I did see Lee's Butterscotch 73'.
That's one of the things I really miss about living up there! Plus the telegraph cruise, Fort St. cruise and the North American International Auto Show!!
Planning on heading out in the morning love it there go to cruise during the day Tigers game in the eve
saw a flat black maverick on the way home as i crossed woodward, i'll probably be out there sunday with my car
Just got here, and a friend and I are going tonight to check it out. Be there all day tomorrow. Best show going. Hope to see some of you there!
I was there last night ( Friday) with my 73 Comet. There were so many cars it was unbelievable. I only saw one Maverick and one Comet GT. My Brother and I had a blast. It took us about 2 hours to go 3 miles. Needless to say my car got a bit warm, no harm done though . There is nothing like it in the world so if you can ever make it it will be worth it!!!!
