here r the pic of my maverick ,ill try and find pics of the engine compartment to show the shock towers. they have been altered. they look very professionally done.i was told this originally had a 427 in it but do not know the original owner? i was told it is an ex super stock? but cant verify it. i tried to do a title search but they told me it was too old. that they couldnt do it. i bought it twenty years ago and it has been sitting ever since. i have almost everything to put a radical cleveland in it and a four speed. just going to go to cruise ins and play around at the drags...still have along way to go. money and time......
WOW!! Definitely has that Pro Stock look about it. Can't wait to see pictures of that Cleveland installed. from Northeast Pennsylvania
more pics of maverick here r some more pics of maverick, and shock towers. you can tell it had a very large engine in it at one time. i sure would like to find out its history...i bought it off of a guy named scott sweeney and he bought it off of jeff cochran, and he bought it off of bill yancey. and it is rumered it may be an old dyno don car or possibly paul gulley ? i was told when jeff bought it the drip rails had been removed .i dont know maybe for less drag? anyways he owned a body shop and put another roof on the car. the car is originally orange from looking inside the quarter panels. how many cars did dyno don own and build? ive seen at least three different ones. anyone have any ideas? oh the fairmont was just a pic of a local hero animal jim thought it was cool ...ran accross it so i posted it too
yes leaf spring and ladder bars. has original frt end except its modified .a arms r shortened the same as shock towers.
your maverick yes mine is a leaf car with ladder bars ...ps yours is very nice is it also an x racer? or did you build it? what motor do you have ?
