Am I the only one who thought you couldn't get new sending units for a 74? Does anyone know if these are correct?

The 1971-1974 Sender has been out for quite awhile. Auto Krafters told me last month that they are still working on doing the 1975 and up fuel sender.

Just out of curiosity, how many years has Auto Krafters been saying that? It seems like they've been working on those fuel sending units forever.

It has been several years. These things take time and money (just ask Joe). Plus...they are being made in China and being shipped over here on a boat.

Honestly...they have probably had bigger fish to fry than Ford Maverick parts.

Thanks Blugene, I'm not ready yet but I thought it was only a few months ago there were posts about having to use a 68 mustang one and reconfigure the ground to the tank instead of the plug. Been watching because I'll need one if I ever get this Comet done and ready for the road. I am still making a list for Craig or whoever of all the little stuff I know I'll need trying to wait till I have it in paint first
