    driving today to school and i here what seems to be like when something is hitting the radiator
    sounds like tikatickatickaticka and then it stops..... and then again tickatickaticka... ONLY IN MOTION:rofl:

    so any ideas??? i know its not the fan hitting the radiator... nothing looks loose.. radiator is not damaged (to an extent:rofl2:)

    Are you sure its coming from the engine compartment? something stuck in a tire or loose brake component?

    :DLook in the rearview Maybe theres a guy with a sticky lifter behind you. I had a 69 Mustang that tickatickaticked then jinglejingled figured out what it was just as the front end of the car jumped up 3 feet in the air and squirted the the drivers side tire about 100yds into oncoming traffic. Last time I let the guys at walmart rotate the tires. Youd probably have to invite us all over for a ride. KP

    I had that problem with my Ranchero, It was the muffler touching the driveshaft when braking hard or turning to hard one dierection!:biglaugh:

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Have you tried revving the engine from under the hood yet??? try it and see what you find.Could be an exhaust leak...could be a loose rocker...could be the fan hitting the shroud(if you have one)Or loose brake parts in one of the drums...Hard to say from here...Good luck!!!
