Hedman Hedders and AOD transmission problem

    Has anyone had this problem, I installed an AOD trans and the headers were in the way. They were actually touching the bottom of the pan after we finally got it in. We unwrapped the collectors and cut a 1/4 inch pie shape through half the hedder and bent in over where in needed to be and welded it closed. I would have taken pics, but I didn't have my camera with me at the time. Just wondering if this was common or not.

    Had to do the same with Hooker 6901 on our car, cut header and push out and weld to clear.
