I went out to a cruise night on Wednesday with my kids and what do i come across but a Maverick that i have never seen before. As i walked around it taking pictures i get a surprise that some one put in a set of '71 to'73 Mustang taillights it. 1_cal_maverick_front_original.jpg 2_calmaverick_interior_original.jpg 3_cal_maverick_rear_original.jpg Kinda cool to see something a little different. It's a '72 with a 302 in it and a untouched engine bay for the most part. The guys name is Earl and he wants to restore it, he is looking for a Grabber hood and other stuff. I told him about this site and the other Maverick site but he is not on the internet. I love a random Maverick sighting.:D(y)

Cool sighting of the Mav! Did he tell you what it took to put the tail lights in?

Just this site alone is worth the cost of an internet connection!

I kinda think that maybe the person that he bought the Maverick off of told him that back in 1972 when they ran out of Pinto...... ah sorry;)........ Maverick taillights they started building those Mavericks with '72 Mustang taillights. If he does not know Mavericks to well than maybe he believed the guy he bought it off of.
