a 600cfm carb. a vac secondary or a double pumper will work just fine. i personaly like the double pumper for its out right performance. some say the vac secondary is beter for fuel economy and my theory is that your foot determines the type of economy your going to get.

Its a matter of opinion, you will find your preference either way, like the muscle cars of the 60's and 70's alot of them have the Carters on from the factory and get gobs of horsepower, just like Holley carbs do.
Or like the 1971 429 cobra jet motors with the Quadrajet carb (yes the Rochester Quadrajet), it is all a matter of tuning and preference. Heck every now and then you can still find someone who still swears by the Predator carburetors....

:thumbs2:I dig the twin black scoops they remind me of the cowl that housed the guns on the ME-109 does anyone know their orgin? We've all heard the stories of the fins on cars during the 1950's being credited to the wings of WW II bombers. And since youve both posted markso125 & barikus we ought to stage our own Mini-Meet w/this break in the weather maybe with that kid and his dad in Layton who just recently restored a Maverick and bring our digital cameras.

it looks pretty nice. the reason i was curious was because it looks like the exact same paint (rattlecan) that i used on my valence :hmmm: do you know if it was a rattlecan job? it looks so nice and it appears to be the same paint i used before

Yeah I was planning on it I am not going to be able to take my car I still have it in pieces I have been working frantically to get it done but overtime kicked in at work and with the new baby coming that kind of killed my time to work on it.
