Kirk your car is looking fine, I'll bet you are happy to finally get to drive it and show it off a little. So how many people stopped by and told you that they or thier Grandma or ? had one of those cars.

Torino is very nice as well, you dont see many of the Cobras

Awesome, great to have the on-lookers, and the stories that are shared. Glad you had a good time -- nothing like it! Remember the first time we showed, we were the only Mav and got surrounded with a bunch of Vettes... got pics that we labeled "Aint Sceeared KMA"... LOL. Keep it up, enjoy!

He said ladys at around 40-50... That would make it a child hood car for them. Their grandma probably owned one.

Can't tell you how many folks (mostly women) that tell about that's the first car they learned to drive on, tho they were being toted around by a guy in the Silver Springs All Ford show sporting a Mustang, and he quickly removed themselves from our area. There isn't an icon for that, lol.

There use to be a ton of Mavericks and Pintos etc back in 1975 ,cheap to own a good first car to afford. Took alot of females out to the Drive-in and dates in my 1st Maverick.

Also noticed when I go to cruises my car attracks ALOT of attention from young guys 13 to 25 years of age for some reason.

oh yeah, we go to a regular breakfast spot, and our favorite server shows up for work with her boyfriend (young, 20-ish's) to drop her off and his head spins like an owl, each time. And, won't leave until we fire her up and leave.
