Ya I think alot of the Younger guys just dont know what a Maverick is? Thats what is neat at the shows ,everyone knows a corvette, camaro, ETC......
One MAv and one Torino at the show I did today as well. Always wanted a big block Torino. Maybe in the future. This show thing is a lot of fun isnt it. Oh 7 of the 9 people that "had one" were Women. One Woman said hers was a lemon from day one. I told her thats not cause it was a Maverick we still have a lot of Lemons 37 years later in the new cars and they are not so easy to repair as the simple Mavs. She did like my Mav though. Hers was green with green plaid int.
Yep, he asked us if it was a Mustang fastack on the first occurence, told him no, it's a Maverick...Ford. Since then, he's really taken by it, hangs around to hear it fire up when we leave, when he drops her off for work.
I was at the Summit Ford car show today and at least one of the guys that was telling the drivers where to park asked me what kind of car i was driving, can you imagine.
