is it possible to change the internals of the door so that the door opens from the small lever like the 73's had originally or am i gonna have to get a different door? i want to put on deluxe 73 panels and this is holding me up...

The doors on 73's can be made to use either style. There is a post that shows, how 73 doors have the holes for either style. I can try and take a pic of the doors on my Brown 73.

That's not a 73 door (no rebar) and those pink things are bondo, squeezed through holes drilled to pull a dent.

I have a 74 Maverick that I can not get the inner door handle off of. How do you get it off to paint and fix the window? I have everything else disconnected and ready to come off.

if your talking about the lever in the first pic, theres a screw on the inside of the lever. just pull the lever out and look inside of it and you'll see it (y)

How come you have a 71-72 door on a 73?

my car has been hammered around quite a bit...the tail panel has a long dent in it from when the car was rearended, under my carpet there was a bunch of glass, the drivers side was hit hard enough that they changed the door and somebody put a cheap paint job in between all this...a lot of the paint is flaking off now
