    I want to buy a maverick but is 6 cylinder
    and I would like to change the engine for a 302
    anyone know where to buy the engine or block

    I know summit and jegs any different place and cheap prices!!

    Most auto parts stores sell remanufactured engines. There is always the junkyard

    yeah thats where i found my 89 roller 302 and for only a hundred dollars

    Yes. I would look for a good used roller 302 and a $100 older, worn-out 302 for the front sump oil pan, timing cover, accessories, brackets, etc., to swap to the roller. If you buy a new long block you're also going to need that stuff.

    If you search this web site you'll find lots of info on the I6 to V8 swap.
