hey guys. didn't drop off the face of the earth. became the new soundman for the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Been on tour all over the eastern half of the country. Got the gas tank for the mav in the mail already and I'm going to install it as soon as I get back home. Just need wheels, a passenger side door handle, a side view mirror and I should be on the road. The tour ends Oct 18th and I'll have a week to finish it before flying out to Cali for the next tour. Now I just have to track down those parts lol. I've decided to have someone paint it as well. the john deere paint did something funky. I have to drill new holes for my rear bumper. Anyone see a problem with just drilling the holes and using 4 bolts with nuts and washers (2 on each side) to hold it on? kewl. There is your phil maverick update. I'm dying to get this thing on the road so I can take it on tour with me.
man hope you get some time when you get back, I would think you'd be pooped. But once you back from the tour you'll have more time I'm sure. don't know about the bumber stuff though
I'm back and definitely was pooped. took a break and getting my gas tank in today. I'll search the forum and see how bumpers are normally mounted. that might give me a good starting point. thnx.
