    I'm on the middle of changing out my heater core... 1970 A/C car.... Where can I get new rubber plugs for the firewall? Including the big one which the ac lines come through....


    Would post pics but I don't know how on this iPhone yet

    These are the grommets i need to find... the big one is the real tough one though... mustangs had a smaller oval one so that wont work :huh:

    Nobody makes the real big one. You will have to find a used one or clean up the old one. I may have a used one. Email me directly (see below) if I can help.

    The rubber plugs will have to be matched up "size wise" with ones out of a Mustang catalog.

    I would use just some soap and water. Maybe some 3M Adhesive remover. Simple Green works real well also.

    have you tried autokrafters. they make a complete catalog for maverick. alot of rubber and weatherstripping. ill look through the one i have
