I need help and advice on running a clutch cable I'm just about done with my T5 conversion and am having trouble routing the clutch cable to avoid the headers (I have the hooker full length ones)... the cable seems to be right in the middle of being a pain to install, if it was shorter it might be a little easier, or if it was longer it would be abit easier, but the way it is now it's a pain... I'm thinking of running it over the driver side strut tower brace, down behind the motor mount, around the header tube and into the bell which that route will create alot of bends... it can't even go straight into the bell because of the headers... I need some advice, pics would be great to... easier to see hows it's done than rear how it's done. Thank you. Should I put this in "Technical" instead? Thank you.

If you are lucky, routing it will not be a problem. I eventually gave up and converted to a hydraulic clutch and gave my cable to my Dad. He went thru 2 cables instantly. After doing some research, we found that using a replacement cable from a 2003 mustang solved the problem. Its only 6 inches longer but its enough to make all the difference.
