I read today (in the 1/10 issue of carcraft) that you can't put a rev limiter on a nitrous engine. There is no explanation, just says don't do it. Por que?
alot of rev limiters just cut all the spark until the rpm's get down.this can cause the air/fuel/nitrous to load up in the cylinders and exhaust which could lead to a big boom.i hear msd rev limiters drop cylinders randomly to help avoid that.the key to using a rev limiter and nitrous is to put a rpm switch that will kill the n2o just before the rev limiter hits.
