Theyre not showing the top of the heads, figured thats something that you wouldnt overlook I wouldnt chance $300 on something that looks like that...if hes too careless to clean them up for the ad how careless do you think he was in maintaining the car they were on? lol
yeh, he took REAL good care of them lol Just wanted to get some input, was thing about trading the guy but my 77 granada heads look better than that
say i have 1970 351w heads stock with just the springs for my cam, and say i get gt40 heads with same springs how much more hp will i make with the gt40 heads or will it be a bust
were the 70 --351 heads off a 2 barrel car or a 4 barrel car. The 2 barrel heads are the better 1's. from the 70's.JMO
Not sure how much actual horsepower you will see, but here is a cut-and-paste of one of my earlier posts on a different thread... The intake flow numbers of the gt40s vs the 351 isn't much different, but there is a bit more exhaust flow on the gt40s.
They list 1969 351W 4V cylinder heads. No such thing. The difference between an 1969 H code (351-2V) and an M code (351-4V) were the pistons and the intake manifolds. Pretty sure that the cams were the same.
a good link to ford head and motor part numbers yes the heads are all the same dont know how people come up with 4v and 2v heads http://www.mustangtek.com/heads/Heads.html brad
351 Cleveland's and 1968 302's had 2V and 4V cylinder heads. Either one or both of those could be the confusion.
