Intakes are cheap. Those kits (with any options) are kind of high. But i will say a used kit would worry me.

"NOS" is for guys who cannot build an engine. And guys who cheat in a race.:hide: You made the right choice.

A Victor Jr intake is made of awesome and win.
When I think NOS I think rice cakes.

Does this mean I can have the 4 bbl intake you are replacing? Like super cheap maybe shipping only?

A Victor Jr would eat my stock engine alive.

I really wanted a stock iron Ford intake but apparently they are hard to find. Good luck with your killer intake.

What sort of rims did you swap for?

can you explane the stock iron ford intake? isnt that what every mav has? or is that steel?

a Victor is a high rpm intake for 3000+ rpm's so it's not exactly the best choice for street cars.

kinda iffy about used nitrous kits unless i know where they've come from

i dunno... but if ur happy, then that's all that matters

    That a boy.
I'm not much of a nitrous fan either. A fast car on the bottle doesnt impress me as much as a fast car off the bottle. I guess I'm an old fashioned engine guy.
I would have taken the intake over used nitrous.

I think he's talking about a stock cast iron "4V" intake.

My mechanic buddy told me the iron intakes are hard to find because when you upgrade your car everyone goes to aluminum and chucks the cast iron in the woods or scraps it. He then offered me an Edelbrock unit for $100.
