Hi ya'll got a question for ya....I got into a disagreement the other day with a mechanic about Kansas City made cars....he stated that they made Torino GT "Twister" Cobra versions AND Maverick "Twister" versions they supposedly had a little Tornado Funnel on them...as I don't know about the Torino I was inclined to agree there...but the Maverick versions I had never even heard of...he stated they only made about 500 of each so they are rare...is this so? did they make Twister Mavericks?
It was only at the K.C. plant...has anyone ever seen either of these car versions? (Torino or Maverick)
He said FMCO beat PLY to the punch when I said I had seen Dusters made by PLY with a little funnel pic/graphic on the side. He said it was in the late 60's early 70's.
