Well considering it's at $220 right now. I'll say $350. Would be nice but the wife is already threatening divorce if I buy anymore parts. :) -- Matt

At that price, I'll wait for the reproductions to come out.

What a coincidence! I pulled my battery tray a couple weeks ago and found corrosion all the way through the battery tray and the fender apron. Guess 36 years of battery acid took its toll... So, yeah, I need one. But after seeing the earlier posts, now I'm hesitating about bidding...

Being a D3DZ... I guess it's a direct match for my 73 car. But does anyone know if other years compatible?

I assume there's some difference at least from earlier years or it wouldn't have a '73 casting number...

Would a 4 door one be the same as a 2 door one? If not, how do we know which one this one is?

2 door and 4 door are the same.
The collision estimator I have lists the part numbers as:
    Apron Front R D3DZ 16054B
    L D0DZ 16055A

The only reason the one is a D3, is they must have made a change to the right side, compared to the ones before 73..and the left was the same for all years.
I have a NOS left side, and it's a D0DZ part number, but there are some differences on it compared to the one on my 74, but they are so small, no one but me and maybe 3 others might notice.

Your saying the tray mounts differently on a 73?
