Hey guys, my maverick is sitting alittle low in the front and i wanted it to sit about 2 inches higher. I was wondering if you new any springs that i could pull out of a different car and set in it, or any good little lift kits for the front with stock springs. Thanks alot

Some of the Mustang houses sell extra thick insulators for on top of the springs.

The Stallion package was nothing but cosmetics. Any engine could be in it. The same with Grabbers. It is a common misconception...

Ok thanks, like i said that was just a guess. Also this is just my opinion is that usely if you were to buy the sport pakage you would buy the bigger engine but i know there are exceptions.

Figure your springs are 30 yrs old. Which means they're weak. Replace them. Not much fun, but the right way to fix it. But you can change the spring rates. There is springs that are for 6, V-8s and heavy duty. Find out what you have and go from there. Shiming up old springs will only increase the chance of bottoming out on the coils.

I was thinking that some one put in a V8 but left the I6 springs in it

I've been running 6 cylinder springs with a V8 for over 30 years now. No problems, sits a little lower, and I like the softer ride the weaker springs give.
