Has anyone installed there gauge Pack where the center vent on a A/C car would of been? I would like to see some pictures if possible. I am thinking of doing this on my 73. Pictures Please! I am thinking you could remove the Vent Section and install Gauges in that spot.
Yup I did that looks good there you can see them with just a glance.. I didn't box it in though just bent the two tabs out and screwed a three gage sunpro set to them...no pic's sorry....
I removed the ac vent and installed 4 gauges in its place. I dropped the vent down where the radio was and installed the radio over to the rt. I put the gauges on a angle . Fuel, volts temp and oil i like the looks
Someone should start stamping a metal piece that can be welded or screwed into the dash that hold 3 large guages.
I was gonna do the same thing but with 2 gauges. I was thinkin of getting some aluminum sheets from Home Depot and cutting the holes for the gauges myself.
I think this is probably what you want to see there are a few things I dont like on this car (console is a big one) but they did absolutely awesome with the dash, If I didnt want to keep my AC and my package tray this is a definite yes.
