i just put a set of procar buckets by scat in my mav and had to fab all the brackets but its sitting right where i want it and i didnt have to search for seat tracks they came with my seats i had to drill new holes in the floor and make l brackets to bolt to the seat tracks then to the floor.

Got Camaro seats with tracks for $30 at Carlisle. The floor is reinforced where the original seats mount and IMO any new mounting locations should be reinforced too. Picked up some 1/8X2" stock at Lowes and bent it to conform to the floor and some 1/4X1.5" stock to make spacers to level the seats. Seats will be recovered in Sprint style. Camaro seats will recline -- don't know if any of the Mustang seats do that.

this is a very good thread ,it is very hard to find seat tracks for a maverick ,and when you do there very $$ ,lets keep this going and see if there are some nice looking buckets out there that look good in a maverick, in 1976 i put some brown interior in my maverick,i even had the rear seat fit close ,and the buckets looked great, but i cant remmer what they came out of i know it wasnt a comet or maverick, but i went to a junk yard and got them ,i kinda remmer saying to myself they look like they would fit ,so i bought them and made them work ,i know im ramblin on but ,well ,ooo, were was i.....lol

Long time ago I ran 69 Mustang hi-backs, had to weld brackets onto the front of the tracks to get them to sit right. Now I'm using those same tracks/brackets under aftermarket Fox Mustang seats. One neat thing about the aftermarket seats, when I changed my interior color several years ago I just called up the seat company and had new covers made in the new color I wanted. They still had the patterns.

same thing I did...works great. I used the universal sliders that came with the seats.
