a grabber hood and a shaker would be overkill.to much goin on.my 2 cents says use a regular hood.plus if ya got a good grabber hood you could sell it and fund over half your project with the proceeds
According to Gord Stewart one Maverick Colt was made here in Canada with a 302 Boss engine. As for its where about , it is unknown. Gord has coloured pics of this car. Comrick and I will try and get them posted.
I have seen the picture of it and the Colt Maverick looks fantastic. Awe, if only Ford decided to make it , what it would be worth today.
Definitely not offered as a production vehicle, but at least one was built. It was advertised for sale in the Feb. 1971 edition of "Wheelspin News" at $3995 with 12K miles. What became of it is anyone's guess.
Yes it was never made as a production model but they did make the one, i have seen "the picture" complete with drop cloth backround. As for what happened to it, well let's say parted is the word of choice, very sad indeed. Oh look , there goes a Shelby Maverick damn where is my camera!!!!
Scans I found these scans that you may be interested in... They are what got me looking for the Colt.
$4,750.. SOLD SOLD SOLD. I already called the guy and I bought it. Am flying out in an hour to pick it up....
Yep that is the pictures i have seen in living colour hanging in Gord's Stuwart's garage. This picture even has a drop cloth in the backround in a professional photo set up. For what i heard it was parted out, boy imagine if that baby was still around in someone's private collection.
