    I recently got a 1972 maverick with a 200 and i wanted to swap for a 302 would i have to get different engine mounts?

    Welcome to the board.:Welcome: New mounts, and belly bar and dual tranny crossmember are recommended. Some may say you don't need them but they were put on the v8 cars for a reason.:)
