I heard not to visit there around August 6th, seems the Japanese morphs into blood hungry nuclear mutants and eat any American they can find on that day.
Yeah, a little, but I still have a few years to save up money before I head on over their, but some programs for foreign teachers help with finding appartments close to the school so I may look into that shortly before going.
Hah thats funny, I don't know about that but I do know that there are saveral festivals every day in Japan during August.
Anyways, what kind of tail lights could I use to have amber turn signals? I thought about using '67 Chevy Caprice tail light and using amber plastic for a turn signal, any ideas.
I thought there was some rule in Japan, all cars over a certain age had to be scrapped? I talked to a guy, that runs a repair shop, and fixes imports, he gets some stuff directly from Japan, since it's cheap. http://www.customs.go.jp/english/c-answer_e/imtsukan/1109_e.htm
All depends on laws and regulations, if it has to be DOT approved then youll have to find taillights that will fit and mold them onto the rear panel, as cutting/molding custom taillights might not be acceptable over there. Caprice taillights should work, have the outers amber, center backup, and inner brake...but then again it all depends on regulations. Here are some other options Torino GT 1967 Shelby Mustang Cant remember what these are to
I don't think so since they are still diving there vintage cars around japan (71 skylines, 69 240z, 64 honda s600) so I think my 71 Maverick is safe fome being trashed. P.S. thanks for the link.
