It Looks Like More Than One...

    Amen,

It looks like a couple of them are off to me...

Going from the 60' times and the mph's, it looks like more than one are iffy. I'd like to see all of these guys at the round-up and at the strip to duplicate some of those numbers.

Some of you guys who live at the strip on saturday nights like I do, take a look at them and see what you think.(y)

    Later,

Sometimes it's hard to say......my 60' are low because my car is a small tire car and basically was just spinning off the line and making it up from about a 1/3 of the track on to the finish. I'd say that my high mph and low 60' time shows that my car was spinning some off the line, OK maybe ALOT off the line!!:D My second trip to the track this year has already yeilded a 1.47 60', w/ a 6.83 @ 99mph. It's bad when you match your 60' on the spray with a 60' on motor.....

Although, the time posted by HelmetHelmet is basically just a joke, i'm not sure what the punch line was??

I usually just like to back up my times with a timeslip and/or a video!!(y)

Thanks for the heads up, I removed one entry as the rest seemed ok to me. As a result of posting false information, I removed that user's privilege to enter timeslip data.

Some people do not know how to read....

No reason to be embarrased Jerry. Most just dont realize what it takes to get even into the 14 second time in a 1/4 mile. Be proud for your accomplishment and be even prouder of how you tweak your car to get that time down. The best part of it all is how much fun you have in those few seconds.

Maxx, are you coming to the round-up?(kinda sounds that way from your post......that would be GREAT to finally get to meet you!

I agree with Stephen as far as 60' not always "looking" right. Because if I was to race Stephen to the 60' mark.....I would beat him :bananaman :bananaman :bananaman
only to get a big enough lead to have a front row seat to watch him come flying around me :(
Those little tires do weird things.

Hey, cometgt74 I didn't see the time posted so I don't know how bad it was off. I was at Wilkesboro Sat night and I had to run another Mav as I was talking before the run he ask me about my 60ft. I told him that I was running 1.60's 60ft he kind of looked at me funny because we were running close to the same times he told me that he ran 1.50's. At the end of the run the timeslip said his was 1.501 60ft and 7.370 89.67mph and mine was 1.627 60ft, 7.361 at 92.80mph 1/8mi. Man, If I could get those 60'ers I would feel good. Oh yea, nice car I checked it out at Shadyside last week bummer on the Pro Mods ah.

Bean, sounds like your maverick is doing really good!!! You should've stopped by and had a hot dog or a burger with us!!! Yeah, I think shadyside pretty much ripped everyone off with the $20 entry fee for two pro-mods, that was crappy!!!

About your 60' times, what kind of setup do you have for a rear suspension??

I'll be at the BIG outlaw race at Shadyside on June 5,6, i'll be running in the 6.99 class again, gonna throw about 200 lb. of lead in the trunk and see if that will slow the car down enough!! :D Feel free to stop by my trailer anytime and introduce yourself!!!!

    Making changes

Can we change our times from last year if we go faster or slower?

I'm a little faster then last year in the 1/8 mile but still have the same MPH, haven't been to the 1/4 mile track yet but will make it this weekend for 3 SWEET days of RACING.

If someone could let me know if and how we can I'll be making:bananaman
    Thanks, Terry

i didnt realize that people here CANT TAKE A JOKE. and i apologize for it even showing up in there... i was under the assumption that information was only going to be under my profile... i dont have a timeslip so i estimated how long it would take me to PUSH it down the track.

How do you get a timeslip to show up in the database? I tried taking a digital photo of mine and loading it, but it didn't take. Does it have to be linked to a website or is this just another case of my computer illeteracy?:slap:
