My Comet was missing one of the three switch knobs for the heater/AC controls. Drove me nuts. I met a member over the weekend and he gave me a knob for free which made my day. Amazing how much that little thing bothered me every time I turned on the fan.
I don't recall you ever asking for one, or even complaining that you needed one. Speak up. Someone will always chime in. That is what we are all here for.
Honestly it never even crossed my mind to post about it. But when I was checking out a pitiful GT I saw them and asked if i could have or buy one and it was just given to me. Awesome I think. It's a little faded but so am I and it can be polished.
Rustoleom silver metalic. Gives it a good shiny finish, but doesn't look like the cheapo chrome in a can.
So stop typing and get to polishing, make sure you post a pic when your done. I might send you the other two so you can do them for me if you do a good job....
