just replaced my break light switch- i have no leftrear break light and left rear turn signal all other markers and lights work ,the side markers are fine when turn signal is on hmmm i did cause a spark when replacing the switsh, i touched somehting under he dash, i traced the wires and maybe i have a short where one of the break light wires go s to the steering colume??
Does the left front signal work? If it helps the brake light switch sends it's power to the turn signal switch and then it goes out from there. You might try turning on the right t/s and check the brake light then. If it lights you may need to replace the t/s switch or clean it real good if it's original. I had to chase a similar problem with my GTO and it drove me nuts!!!! Good luck.
I had that same problem too, it was the turn signal switch. I ended up buying a NOS switch assembly that replaces all of the harness in the steering column too, just getting another cam for it will not correct the problem.
all the lights work side markers, break front signals- i traced the wires and your right they allllllllllllllllll go to the turn signal switch , ill dig into it this week thanks
