So I worked all day trying to get a set of headers on a new build I'm working on and the driver's side is not going. It's on my 72, 302 Grabber. I think theya re 6901 hookers but I just wanted to see if there was a trick to this. I got these off a 72 Comet in the junkyard so I know they fit. Any ideas? Thanks!

Both are right. Jack the car up on jackstands as high as you can. Remove the drivers side bolt holding the engine to the stand . You might want to loosen the passengers side too. Than either jack up the engine or lift it with a hoist. If you jack it up use a board under the pan to spread the weight. BTW, Do you have power steering. If so, you also need a drop down bracket. :)

I used Flowtech 12100FLT, and they fit well, with no problems. Just have to lift the engine on the drivers side to get them in.
