WOOHOOO!!! I GET TO ANSWER A QUESTION!!!! Advanced auto does free alternator testing, just bring it there. Your method should work too...

As far as the headlights go... I remember reading that this is a common problem with our cars because of the wiring. Apparently the lights won't get brighter even with beefier bulbs or battery. There is a tech article I read somewhere on here about installing a couple of Bosch relays in line to make the headlights brighter. Try doing a search in the tech articles. Hope that helps! I like that u only have one front seat. I'm going that direction if I get rid of my bench.

Oh..., I remember seeing recently that someone was selling some part of a rear seat on here. Try posting a request in parts wanted section. They don't seem that rare. If I didn't have so much other stuff to do I'd sell you mine so I can do a rear seat delete (maybe another option for you?).

    good luck!

He said something about air shocks, showed me the input for them. Yeah it has a mean stance, I love those wheels too

that scoop is tacky in my opinion, it would look nicer if it had the proper mounting kit, if I coudl find spacer for it and fix the hood and do it right, would look great I think

I found a nice grabber hood nearby for $50, so I'll probabyl just remove the scoop and have a regular looking hood

wont be hard to match that paint :rofl2:

Well everyone, according to the VIN its a 73.
Kind of disappointed because it was snowing when I got home from work, wanted to fool around with that linkage some.

    ok so question:
Someone told me there weren't any floor shift mavericks for automatic trans, is that true?

The shifter and indicator look aftermarket, the shifter is silver plastic (ugh) looks like its from walmart or something. anyone know how to tell? the column doesnt have a place for a shifter I think

Yes, there were floor shift auto and manual Mavericks. Column shift was standard, but you could order a floor shift with either trans.

well, changing directions with this project

Going to restore it to mostly stock, comet GT scoop over that nasty hole, then Im going to paint it and hopefully trade it for a harley, or maybe keep it

any idea what this would be worth painted with a decent interior and 351 W>?

anyways I just posted it up on ebay, if it doesnt reach 1200 I'll paint it and finish it out I suppose
