look at this gorgous thing. . . it's freakin heavy. Came with a regulator. Now I need a fuel gauge, where can I get a good one that's not too cheap. I think I'm gonna run the metal lines, I think it's aluminum. Don't wanna run braided steel.

I think I'm just gonna use the one supplied. The dead head system I'm sure is safe. I read somewhere that the longevity of the pump is better if I design a return system but I can do that down the road.

    Thanks for the link

You can see my guage here sitting on top of my regulator. I don't run a return line. :)

If that is a standard Holly regulator, the internal orifice is not large enough, I cant remember the exact size but have torn them apart before looking for fuel supply problems. Anyway if you are going to try feeding a Blower with it, It wont work if you try to feed THRU IT, You can use it as a return style and it will work OK. We use one on a 671 as a return style and it works OK.

I don't think I quite understand. So I know I have to have a regulator with this pump, if I use it on the future supercharged engine you don't think this regulator will provide enough fuel if I were to use it as a dead head system but if I were to use it in a return system it would be adequate?

Exactly, We use one as a return on the 671 and it works ok so far. In doing it this way the fuel doesn't go Thur the regulator to the carb(s). Instead you use the regulator to bleed the excess fuel after the carb(s). I cant say what the life expectancy of running it this way will be, But i know its better than running out of fuel.
