what could be wrong with my door

    my driver side door doesnt want to unlock. I have taken off the door panel but i cant seem to find the problem any ideas?

    By unlock do You mean with the key,or pulling up on the lock from the inside?

    Probably with the key since i have the same problem.

    no with both i take the door panel off and unlock from there it will work for a couple of times and then it will just stop working after a while

    No idea what the latches look like yet but here is something to look for. My GTO did the very same thing, it was a crap shoot at best whether or not it would unlock. I pulled the latch from both doors for comparison and found there was a very light spring on the lock arm. On the drivers side it was broken but the passenger side it was intact. All it did was create a new problem.....where the hell do you get a replacement??? It's worth a look at least, good luck.

    try spraying wd40 or similar lubricant on the mechanisim. work the lock a few times to work the lubricant into it. see if that works. if it doesnt then you need to take it out and see whats going on.
