We already got a plan worked out to fool mother nature. Since Dan's trailer is 24' and mine's only 22', were going to put a bowling alley in Dans, and a shuffel board in mine. Also gonna add some poker tables. Everyone is going to buy expensive rain gear. . That should do it.

Sounds like a good plain to me!!! That rain storm was south and was staying on that route until the car show started then with in an afternoon it switched back north. Storms seem to have an attraction to car shows, it must be some strange natural phenomenon!! LOL I still had fun though!!

Did you guys get a good look at that blue Maverick? It was really clean!!! He said that was the first time the car had been in the rain since he restored it!!

    Later,

    Shelby

It sure was good to see everybody again, and the new faces. For those that cut out Saturday night or early Sunday, the weather improved.

We need to get a surplus MASH tent and set up the "Maverick Lounge" for the weather we seem to be getting every year. All we'd need then is a generator, a couple of coolers, and a grille and we'd be set for the weekend.

Next year, same time, same channel!!

I think Doug brings the rain with him from Texas!

Sorry I had to leave early Saturday. Had an emergency. Seems a good bit of that rain ended up in my rec room.

it was nice meeting everyone and talking to a few people again. wish i could have spent more time talking but if im away from the swap area for too long i start to go into withdrawls. found some great deals on stuff there, too bad i didn't find much i could use on my mav, but i had a truck full of parts none the less..

doesn't it suck that you can never find parts for the car you want to work on. i found parts for everything else i have though lol..

    thought this was pretty cool

HA! I love the cake. I know a few guys on here who could "clean it up" nicely. ;)
