stock wheel question

    73, comet 302,allum intake,600 holley
    dumb question, how wide are stock rims? i dont have slots just stock 73 black rims with hubs, also im running p205/75 r14 wheels in the back and i was wondering whats the biggest tire you can put on a stock rim without fender rolling, or rubbing, thanks:tiphat:

    A bunch of different size wheels came stock on a 73.

    14x 4-1/2
    14x 5
    14x5-1/2
    14x 6

    I have 14*7 Mag 500's, 4.5 BS, they had 245*60's B4 I got new 225*70's. I think I had abt another 1" possibly B4 rubbing the springs.

    thanks for the commpliment, and is there any way to tell besides grabbing some measuring tape

    That's abt the only way I know of other than info from those who have similar setups.

    You will need at least a 5.5" and no more than 7" rim to run 205 x 70 x 14 tire
