Do you have a volt meter on the car?

Also you might want to fasten this down:)

Alternator and regulator both need a ground to work. Wiring diagram shows a ground.

Check your battery ground cable from battery to engine block, there should be a crimped eye a few inches after the top battery terminal that gets bolted to the lower voltage regulator bolt for chassis ground. If not the battery light will come on and the charging system will not work.

Might want to check the battery wire on the alt. It looks like it is on the wrong terminal. It's the black and orange thick wire. I bet it goes on the terminal with the red on the alt.

my car didn't charge right after got it. turns out it was a broken wire going to the voltage regulator on the fender well. stroke of luck i even found it. Man it ticked me off, and when i finally figured it out i felt like a dummy. might want to check out yours if your still having trouble.
