    like i said bro its not really for sale yet..jus curious..im definitly gunna clean it up and do the neccesary body work before i ever did anything with it...whether i sell it or keep it...im going back and forth on whether i wanna keep my hood scoop or switch it out for the grabber...im in the process or doing my grabber deck lid now so we'll see :clap:

    Madmav..If your in the market for a grabber hood and cant find one local let me know. Ill have one in Redding in a few mo's.

    I live in Reno 1/2 the time and Redding the other 1/2 ,The hood is in Reno now but i can haul it to Redding anytime,

    I did a 351 swap before stroked 302s were so easy.

    Doing it today, I would go 331 stroker. A 302-based motor fits in our cars much better.

    Then, cutting the shock towers back becomes optional ... (I'd still do that anyway ... :hide: ... so much easier to get work on it).

    ive also heard cutting the shock towers back weakens the car...and im building it for speed

    and im all over the east bay...live in fremont tho

    I've seen people cut them back and leave them open ... yeah, that would weaken the car ... the areas cut back on mine were replaced with 1/8" plate steel, and it was done by a chassis shop that does drag cars all the time ...plenty strong!
