Grabber Spoiler Install 1973 Maverick

I have a 73 Maverick I have the Center Spoiler and both , corner pieces. a total of 3 parts. Do I need any additional parts to complete Spoiler up grade? I have seen were some have posted that a total of 5 parts...Center, ends, and 2 small fillers at end caps? True or not for a 73 application. Thanks Kirk

 

Should have all 5 for a small bumper setup. you could probably make it work without the 2 little pieces.

 

Use what you have Kirk, the filler pieces on the 73 are completely different

 

The 73 had the same small bumper. how different was the 4th and 5th pieces on a 73?

 

Big difference! because the back bumper on a 73 sticks out

Bumper brackets on the 73 are longer and push the bumper out a little further than 72-70, the filler piece under the bumper on a 73 is a rubber piece about the size of you fist or bigger

If you are keeping the 1973 bumper mounts.....then you have all the pieces you need. If you are switching to the 1972 bumper mounts, you will need the two lower quarter extensions.

 

Thanks for all the input ,it sounds like I have everything I need. Time to paint and install....
