how remove bumpers

    Hello everyone, i have a question, i need remove the bumpers, (rear, front) of my mav, I do not have right now my mav and I dont remember how is subject??, is with screws??, all this is because i need parking my mav in a small space. I appreciate your help, if someone have pics or diagram better, thanx all. In a week, approximate i require do this and i want to be prepared, my mav will come with me again.:)

    I'll add a bit to MavZac's question....

    I removed the damaged rear valance off my 69.5, and can't see for the life of me how you access the bumper bolts on the back of the bumper, though I'll admit I was on my back in high grass in the summer heat and had sweat dripping in my eyes, so my inspection was limited at best, but it just doesn't look like there's access to the bolts (nuts) back there.

    Well hell, that makes pefect sense! LOL

    I'd wondered about that, but seeing as both my Mavs have mass quantities of junk packed in their backsides, I didn't dig that deep.

    Yea, just hope those %@!& nuts that are tack welded to the outside bracket don't break loose & start turning with the bolt. Very hard to get anything up in there to hold it from turning.

    4 bolts in the trunk for the rear. You can get to the nuts and bolts on the front. I've used a short open end on the front.:)

    Yeah, I've removed/installed a couple of front bumpers from/on Mavericks.....just never messed with a rear one before

    Depende de que defensas tienes.
    Si es de defensas chicas, la defensa de atras se quita por dentro de la cajuela en el panel trasero, y justo debajo de donde esta la parte interior de las luces traseras.
    La defensa grande se quita por la parte de abajo y son 4 tornillos que la sujetan al chasis.
    Las delanteras son fijadas a el chasis y es mas dificil removerlas porque los soportes son varios y requieren de ajustes y tornilleria que hacen mas complicada la reinstalacion y requieren de saber como realinearlos al momento de reinstalacion.
