Well I am kind of new here. ( I had account here but forgot all my info).

I use to have a 70 Maverick w/ 200 I6 header, and the rear spoiler.

Right now I am trying to help my dad get his 73 Maverick back on the street (drivable).

I am looing for idea's and ways to make his different, yet built on a budget. Right now they put a few of the parts from Mav. on and getting it ready to put in his 302.

As I can think I will post. I do not have any pics being he his in Clearwater FL., and I am in Texas!!!

    Thanks everyone.

I have seen quite a bit of ideas here, and as far as the budget goes... I have no budget limits... just the idea of getting the shops (summit, jegs, herbert, ect.) to donate is the issue.

Right now here is his car:

73 grabber (although didn't come from the factory with the rear wing)

    69 302 (stock)
    mid-80's HO 4-bbl intake
    650 Holley just rebuilt
C-4 trans. (going to be rebuilt)
just added my old rear wing (I think itis missing a side piece) and trunk lid.

    Next:

Getting engine in, and trans rebuilt
replacing fuel lines and relining the tank (car has sat for about 10 years now..lol!)
    brake job.. gotta stop!
    ripping out interior
(so if anyone knows were to get/or has bucket's w/ brackets let me know)

Needs body work, but will be done slowly and in time.

Thanks for the welcome, and remember the car is in FL, and I am in TX!!
